We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, and enhance modern web applications that deliver exceptional customer experiences. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to build scalable, high-performance solutions while contributing to architectural decisions, software quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications that improve customer experiences. Build robust backend services using Python and develop responsive frontend components with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React. Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Engineering teams to deliver customer-focused features. Participate in solution architecture, technical design reviews, and engineering discussions. Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services. Implement automated testing strategies and contribute to maintaining high software quality standards. Utilize CI/CD pipelines to support efficient software deployment and release management. Mentor junior developers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing. Promote engineering best practices, continuous learning, and process improvements across the development team. Balance technical excellence with timely product delivery while making sound engineering decisions.
QualificationsRequired Experience
Minimum 8 years of experience in web application development. Strong backend development experience using Python. Experience developing frontend applications using React or similar modern JavaScript frameworks. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes. Experience with containerization and infrastructure technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools. Strong understanding of software architecture, object-oriented programming, and clean coding principles. Experience collaborating with Product Managers and cross-functional Agile teams. Previous experience mentoring software engineers and supporting technical growth. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Commitment to continuous learning and adopting modern software engineering practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs. Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) or other automated testing methodologies. Experience with Event-Driven Architectures and Domain-Driven Design (DDD). Familiarity with cloud-native application development and microservices architecture. Experience in payments, fintech, or working with the Stripe ecosystem is considered an asset. Knowledge of modern DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, and application monitoring tools is a plus.
