Status: For a 8-month co-op term. This is a full-time paid position operating Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
Compensation: $23-$25 per hour, based on experience

About the Position
ATS Traffic has an exciting opportunity for an HR Co-op Student to join our business! Working closely with the HR Team, this role is an excellent introduction to the HR field whereby you will gain valuable, real-word experience.
Operating within the construction and manufacturing industry, ATS Traffic requires a strong seasonal workforce during our peak season to deliver products and services to our customers. The successful HR Co-op Student will be responsible for administering the full-cycle recruitment process for these entry-level positions for the 2026 season.

Responsibilities
This position will administer the full-cycle recruitment process for entry-level and seasonal positions. Specific accountabilities include:
- Create and post job advertisements on UKG and external job boards.
- Review resumes and applications, select candidates and conduct preliminary phone interviews.
- Schedule and conduct interviews (virtually or in person) and debrief with the hiring manager.
- Perform reference checks for permanent entry-level vacancies.
- Prepare offer letters and employment documentation, ensure all pre-employment requirements are complete prior to start date.
- Schedule pre-employment drug and alcohol testing, follow up with Cannamm on results.
- Prepare and deliver recruitment reports for leadership.
- Set up New Employee Orientation, coordinate with participating departments such as Health and Safety, Product Specialists, Technology, etc.
- Assist our HR Business Partner's with duties as required.
Qualifications

Applicants must be currently enrolled in a post secondary education program with a specialization in Human Resources, Industrial/Employee Relations, Law or a related field.
- Preference will be given to 3rd and 4th year students who have completed courses related to HR, recruitment, employee relations, and health and safety.
