Title: Psychoeducational Clinician

Posting Overview:

Reporting to the Manager of Psychological Services, this position will provide psychological assessment services, crisis intervention as well as mental health consultation and counselling to the students of the Lambton Kent District School Board.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • possess a Master's level degree in Psychology;

  • registration with the College of Psychologists or Psychotherapists is mandatory.

Other Key Skills & Knowledge:

  • determine intervention strategies with school based team;

  • counsel/consult with students, parents, teachers, outside agencies on a variety of student related educational and psychological issues;

  • provide Psychological assessment and testing under the supervision of the Manager of Psychological Services and consult with parents, teachers, school administration and outside agencies;

  • work effectively as a team member with department staff, other Board staff, outside agencies;

  • communicate both verbally and in writing to relay information accurately;

  • experience in the above areas, preferably in an educational setting is an asset;

  • travel will be required within the District.

Position Effective Date & Length:

One temporary position available. This position ends on June 26, 2026 and restarts effective September 8, 2026 until November 13, 2026.

Temporary, CUPE, 35 hours/week. Serving schools throughout the District.

Salary: $44.11/hour - $46.67/hour
