About the role
SPK Home Construction is a COR-certified commercial construction and home building company hiring full-time labourers. Preference will be given to candidates with one or more of the listed skills, though training may be provided for the right applicant. Position Details:
Full time, 40 hours per week Work on indoor and outdoor job sites Whitehorse based with occasional work in Yukon communities Starting wage: $28/hour, with increases based on experience and skills Paid time off Medical benefits after probation period PPE provided (hard hat, ear protection, eye protection, high vis vest) Assets (any or all): Welding experience Basic mechanical skills Ability to drive a large truck and trailer General construction experience Ability to read and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings Requirements: Physically able to perform construction labour Valid driver’s licence (required) Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work in Yukon conditions Ability to work independently and as part of a team How to Apply: Please submit your resume and outline any relevant skills or experience to heather@spkhomes.ca
