We're a financial services co-operative with expansive reach across North

Central BC, Vancouver Island, and the Gulf Islands, and we’ve got an exciting opportunity for you. Integris, a division of Coastal Community Credit, is looking for a Member Service Representative 1 (MSR1) on a permanent, full-time basis in Vanderhoof, B.C.

What’s the role?

Member Service Representatives (MSRs) play a crucial role in delivering

exceptional service to our members. They are responsible for making quality referrals, addressing member issues and complaints with professionalism and positivity. We are seeking an outgoing individual with superior communication skills, adept at resolving problems tactfully and exercising sound judgment in various situations.

This full-time position is scheduled for 35 hours per week, with a schedule from

Monday to Friday.

Your duties will include

• Negotiating basic transactions including deposits, withdrawals, payments, cheque orders, foreign currency, and wire transfers.
• Completing daily balancing of money orders, cheques, bills, credit card transactions, and foreign exchange.
• Opening simple sub-accounts, responding to general inquiries, updating member information, and handling basic account maintenance and closures.
• Building member relationships, achieving referral goals, encouraging the use of new products, and providing information on credit union services.
• Assisting with branch administrative tasks, balancing the ATM, and help maintaining branch appearance.

What are we looking for?

Ideally, you are a flexible, collaborative team player with

• Basic understanding of financial transactions and customer service.
• Ability to clearly and effectively interact with members.
• Efficiently manage transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Proven ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
• Accuracy in handling financial transactions and member information.

Salary Range: $20.17 to $23.43 CAD per hour.
