We are looking for a Sales Account Manager to support our US Consumer Division in Western Canada. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding customer partnerships, and delivering profitable business results across a diverse portfolio of customers and manufacturing capabilities. As a key liaison between customers and our operations teams, you'll help ensure flawless execution while identifying opportunities to grow and strengthen our business. This is a remote-based position located in Western Canada with regular travel to customer and plant locations.
What You'll Do
Drive sales growth and profitability by consistently meeting or exceeding revenue and margin objectives. Build and strengthen relationships with key customer stakeholders, serving as a trusted business partner. Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts and targeted prospects. Partner with operations, supply chain, technical, and customer service teams to ensure on-time, on-spec delivery. Lead coordination of product launches, trials, and ongoing customer programs. Serve as the primary liaison between customer needs and ProAmpac's manufacturing capabilities. Manage customer programs including forecasting, quoting, order flow, and inventory management models such as VMI. Provide market insights and competitive intelligence to support strategic business decisions. Ensure proactive communication, problem-solving, and exceptional customer service across all deliverables.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Packaging, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably supporting large or multi-site customers. Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving performance targets. Experience within flexible packaging, films, or related manufacturing industries strongly preferred. Ability to influence and collaborate effectively within a cross-functional environment. Experience utilizing CRM systems, with Salesforce experience preferred. Strong communication, relationship-building, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating across teams. Willingness to travel regularly to support customer and plant engagement activities.
