Job Summary Reporting to the Sr. Director, Applications & Delivery Governance, the Business Analyst, Supply Chain and Manufacturing will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing business processes aligned to Apotex standard technology solutions to optimize our supply chain and manufacturing business processes. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP modules, mainly IBP, Plant Maintenance, Ariba, Success Factors and ATTP (Advanced Track and Trace for Pharma) related to supply chain and manufacturing as well as MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) Modules including Weighing and Dispensing, eLogBooks, OEE and eBatch Records as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
As a key member of the Global Information Systems team, you’ll leverage your supply chain and manufacturing background and system configuration expertise to drive process improvements, ensure system integrity and support strategic decision making.
Job Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into solutions from our technology portfolio.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement technology solutions for supply chain and manufacturing based on SAP and MES/Plant Floor Integration.
- Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements.
- Develop and maintain documentation for business processes and configurations.
- Ability to understand business problems and clearly explain to the business partners How our standard SAP and MES based solutions can be used to resolve.
- Provide training and support to end-users.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Participate in SAP ECC and SAP Ecosystem upgrades and enhancements.
- Collaborate with Computer System Validation team on ensuring Audit compliance and Standard Operating Procedures
- Ability to clearly communicate best practices in the Pharma industry and How to apply them in a technology environment so they can generate business benefits
- Build relationships, influence key decision-makers, and collaborate in a cross-functional team comprised of diverse personalities, skill sets, and levels of experience.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, and Standard Operating procedures and according to established safety standards where applicable. Ensures work is performed in compliance with the GIS processes.
- Work in a safe manner collaborating as a team member to achieve all outcomes.
- Ensure personal adherence with all compliance programs including the Global Business Ethics and Compliance
- Demonstrate behaviours that exhibit our organizational values : Collaboration, Courage, Perseverance and Passion

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on SAP Supply Chain and Manufacturing, preferably with Consumer Product Goods (CPG) and/or Pharma industries.
- Proficiency in SAP modules such as MM, PP, SD, PM and WM as well as Ariba, ATTP, IBP and Success Factors.
- Knowledge of MES Solutions for the Pharmaceutical Industry (e.g. eLogbooks, Weighing and Dispensing, eBatch Records) and Integration with SAP ECC
- Knowledge of One-Stream, Model-N and salesforce.com a plus
- Knowledge of SAP Data supporting the Supply Chain Processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable with presenting and clearly communicate to Senior Leadership.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as well as champion change for the organization
- Lean Six-Sigma green belt or black belt certification a plus.
