About the role

Informations

The production mechanic works under the supervision of the mechanical foreman. The selected individual is primarily responsible for disassembling (estimation) and assembling (repair) damaged pumps.

Responsabilities

Identify, disassemble, diagnose, and evaluate damaged pumps; Repair, modify, or replace defective parts; Connect the electrical components of the pumps; Assemble and adjust repaired or manufactured pumps; Test repaired or manufactured pumps on the test bench and produce the necessary reports; Proceed with the verification of different types of electric motors; Read technical drawings; Maintain factory equipment and the workstation; Collaborate and coordinate work with other trade teams; Actively participate in achieving the objectives of their work team; Observe production-related issues and propose concrete and innovative solutions to implement; Maintain workstations according to the 5S philosophy; Perform all other related tasks.

Training And Experience

Hold a college or vocational diploma in industrial mechanics, heavy machinery mechanics, or electromechanics, combined with one (1) to three (3) years of experience. Any other combination of relevant diplomas and/or experience will be considered.

Technical Requirements

Knowledge of industrial mechanics, electromechanics, and welding; Ability to read and interpret plans.
