Front Desk Receptionist / Front Desk Manager

Inn Towne Motel is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Front Desk Receptionist / Front Desk Manager to join our team. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and experience in the hotel or hospitality industry. The ideal candidate is honest, dependable, organized, and committed to providing excellent guest service.

Job Requirements

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in hotel, motel, or hospitality operations is preferred
  • Experience with reservations systems and basic office software is an asset
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Computer & Office Skills

  • Word processing software
  • Spreadsheet applications

  • Database and reservation systems
  • General office equipment and clerical tasks

Responsibilities

  • Greet and register arriving guests
  • Take, update, cancel, and manage room reservations
  • Assign rooms and provide information about motel facilities and local attractions
  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs
  • Calculate charges, process payments, and balance cash reports
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally
  • Answer telephone calls and respond to emails
  • Maintain reservation records, room availability, and inventory
  • Perform general clerical duties including filing, photocopying, and record keeping
  • Assist with light housekeeping duties when required
  • Follow safety and emergency procedures
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times
