OBJX Studio is a creative, multi-purpose venue in Toronto, hosting everything from intimate weddings and wellness gatherings to photo/video productions, pop-ups, and brand activations. Our bright, open-concept studio is known for its stunning floor-to-ceiling windows and welcoming, community-centered environment.

About the Role

We’re looking for a dependable, organized, and people-focused Event Floor Manager to oversee the studio during client bookings and events. As the primary on-site contact, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the studio is prepared for client arrivals, managing the event flow, supporting guests and vendors, and troubleshooting any issues that arise, all while maintaining the integrity and smooth operation of OBJX Studio. This is a leadership role suited for someone with excellent problem-solving skills, a calm and friendly demeanor, and a strong sense of responsibility in dynamic, client-facing environments.

Responsibilities

Open and prepare the studio for client bookings, ensuring it is clean, organized, and fully stocked Serve as the main on-site contact for clients, vendors, and guests during events Oversee the event schedule and studio usage, ensuring policies and timelines are followed Support clients with venue-related needs or questions during their booking Monitor the overall flow of the event, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of common areas, restocking supplies as necessary throughout the event Supervise and support Event Support Staff during shifts Conduct end-of-event walkthroughs with clients and reset the studio for the next booking Communicate any incidents, damages, or important event notes to management post-event

Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in event management, hospitality, or venue coordination Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills Calm, approachable, and professional under pressure Highly organized with strong attention to detail Comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and late nights as required Experience working in event or studio environments is an asset Familiarity with weddings, private events, or photo/video production settings is a plus Why Join OBJX Studio?
