Votre Contribution Quotidienne Et Impact We are seeking a highly motivated, bilingual IT Project, Director to lead and oversee the delivery of all IT and business projects across the organization. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for establishing governance, driving execution, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. The ideal candidate is both a structured thinker and an active doer—comfortable rolling up their sleeves, building ways of working, and ensuring projects are delivered with excellence.
Project Leadership & Governance
- Provide day-to-day governance of all projects, ensuring consistency, accountability, and visibility across the portfolio.
- Establish and maintain frameworks, processes, and standards (including RACIs, charters, and scorecards) to ensure clarity of roles and responsibilities.
- Develop and enforce project management best practices across IT and business initiatives.
Execution & Delivery
- Act as the hands-on lead for all projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Manage project lifecycles end-to-end, from initiation through delivery and post-implementation reviews.
- Drive proactive risk identification and mitigation.
Stakeholder Management
- Meet regularly with project teams, sponsors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and remove roadblocks.
- Facilitate strong cross-functional collaboration across IT, business units, and external partners.
- Ensure the right stakeholders are engaged at the right time in the decision-making process.
Communication & Reporting
- Build and maintain clear communication channels between project teams, business leaders, and executives.
- Deliver timely updates, dashboards, and presentations to ensure leadership has visibility into project status and performance.
- Act as a trusted advisor and act as the right hand to the VP of IT and senior leadership on project priorities and resourcing needs.
Team & Process Development
- Mentor and develop project managers and coordinators within the team.
- Continuously evaluate and refine ways of working to improve efficiency, agility, and project outcomes.
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and collaboration.
Expertise Et Compétences Essentielles
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree an asset).
- 10+ years of progressive project management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience managing both infrastructure and ERP projects is a definite asset.
- Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder IT and business projects.
- Expertise in project governance, frameworks (e.g., PMBOK, Agile, Hybrid), and RACIs.
- Strong leadership and influencing skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both in French and English (oral and written).
- Hands-on, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
