The Opportunity:
As a Fitness Group Instructor, you help to enhance the quality of life of Airdrie residents by purposefully creating memorable experiences, lasting relationships and classes that are developed in alignment with Fitness Alberta standards.
Responsibilities Includes:
- Deliver high quality group fitness classes to our customers including adults, children and youth
- Motivate and inspire confidence in participants
You Bring:
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Current Fitness Alberta Group Exercise certification with specialties in aquatic exercise, group cycle, group choreography, older adult exercise or mind body. Equivalent certifications may also be considered (ie: Canfitpro) (upload copies of certification with online application)
- Current Standard First Aid/CPR C and AED required (upload copies of certification with online application)
- Past experience and demonstrated skills teaching group fitness techniques required
- Proven background in providing exceptional customer service
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Mature and reliable

Additional Information:
This competition is for part time (casual) Fitness Group Instructors and/or Aquatic Fitness instructors for early morning, evening and weekend classes.
Candidates with experience leading group fitness to adults, children and youth will be given priority.
