Job Summary & Key Responsibilities

Work Assignment: INFO **6370/**MGMT 5012 Records Management

The sessional instructor will teach the online elective course Records Management (INFO 6370) in the Master of Information (MI) and Master of Information Management (MIM) programs in the 2026 Winter term. The online course is scheduled for one 3-hour period per week (Tuesdays 8:35-11:25) January to April 2026.

All instructors report to the Director of the Program.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Responsibility for all aspects of teaching and administering the course, including lectures, active learning class sessions, assignment preparation and evaluation; availability for two hours per week for consultation with students. Course syllabi are available upon request.

Qualifications/Requirements of Position

Requirements of the Position: MLIS degree (or similar) and significant experience with professional records management tools and techniques. Graduate-level teaching experience in this area (or a similar area) would be an asset.

Salary Range/Pay Rate

($6478) In accordance with CUPE Collective Agreement
