About The Role. McCain Foods is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Optimization Analyst to support the optimization of our global supply chain network and intercompany operations. This position will play a key role in providing data-driven insights, conducting scenario modeling, and supporting strategic initiatives that enhance network efficiency and cross-border sourcing flows.
The Supply Chain Analyst will collaborate closely with regional and global teams to gather and analyze data, identify improvement opportunities, and help ensure alignment with company standards and regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing.
- Global Network Design & Execution
- Support the execution of McCain’s global supply chain network strategy by performing analyses that identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency, service performance, and network effectiveness.
- Assist in preparing business cases and presentations for proposed network changes such as new facilities, relocations, or closures.
- Maintain and update documentation of sourcing flows and intercompany lanes to reflect changes in demand, supply, and market conditions.
- Scenario Modeling & Data Analytics
- Apply digital and analytical tools to model supply chain scenarios, evaluating trade-offs between cost, service, and risk.
- Provide data-driven insights and reports to support decision-making during supply disruptions, capacity shifts, or product introductions.
- Summarize and communicate key findings and recommendations from scenario analyses to global and regional supply chain teams.
- Intercompany Supply Chain Support
- Monitor daily intercompany (InterCo) supply flows, ensuring accurate data and consistency in volume allocations and lead times.
- Support the implementation of global InterCo capacity strategies, helping align supply with demand across regions.
- Collaborate with the global deal desk and regional supply chain teams to identify and resolve imbalances or capacity constraints.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and automation efforts within intercompany operations.
- Compliance & Process Improvement
- Assist in reviewing network and intercompany changes to ensure compliance with trade regulations, food safety standards, and McCain’s internal policies.
- Work closely with compliance, logistics, and regulatory teams to monitor corrective actions and maintain data accuracy.
- Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, standardize processes, and enhance supply chain visibility.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build effective working relationships with regional supply chain teams.
- Communicate progress, findings, and insights to managers and project stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and share best practices across the global supply chain network.
What You’ll Need To Be Successful.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or Industrial Engineering from an accredited institution
- 2+ years of experience in supply chain, mathematical modeling, analytics, or strategic network planning in a complex manufacturing and distribution environment
- Ability to analyze and organize large amount of data, models, and results using Microsoft Excel, Access, Power BI, SQL, and other related tools
- Ability to convert functional requirements to technical requirements for the development team
- Passion for challenging the status quo
- Ability to investigate complex issues and conduct root cause analysis
- Passion for creating innovative approaches to solve abstract business problems
- Ability to infer realistic business and supply chain implications from data and model results
- A bias towards decisive action

Compensation Package : $65,500.00 - $87,400.00 . CAD annually + Bonus Eligibility The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting.
