About the role
**Schedule:**2 days per week, on-site (Toronto)
About the role: We’re looking for a detail-oriented bookkeeper with hands-onproperty management experienceto keep our financials tight and organized. This is an in-person role for someone who prefers consistency and ownership over their work.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping (AP/AR, reconciliations)
- Maintain tenant ledgers and rent roll accuracy
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Track property expenses and budgets
- Prepare monthly financial reports
- Support year-end prep with accountant
Requirements:
- 2+ years bookkeeping experience -Direct property management accounting experience (required)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Buildium, AppFolio, or similar
- Strong attention to detail and accountability
- Able to work independently on-site
Nice to have:
- Experience managing books for multiple properties/units
- Familiarity with Canadian accounting practices
