We are looking for a Full Time Program Coordinator, mNPR (Minimum Nurse-to-Patient Ratio) to join our team in Surrey, B.C. In this impactful role, you will help advance workforce initiatives that support safe, high-quality care and positive experiences for employees, patients, clients, residents, and families across Fraser Health. Working closely with senior leaders, clinical teams, corporate partners, and external stakeholders, you will play a key role in coordinating the implementation of the Minimum Nurse-to-Patient Ratio (mNPR) program and supporting strategic healthcare priorities. In this role, you will: Coordinate and support mNPR program activities, initiatives, and deliverables across Fraser Health. Serve as a key liaison and trusted connector between leaders, clinical teams, corporate services, health authorities, and external partners. Facilitate communication, information sharing, and collaboration to keep projects moving forward and achieve program objectives. Prepare reports, briefing materials, and resources that support informed decision-making and operational excellence. What you bring: Diploma in Administration, Project Management, Adult Education, or a related field. Five (5) years of recent related experience in a healthcare, business, education, or similar environment. Supporting the Vision, Values, Purpose, and Commitments of Fraser Health including service delivery that is centered around employees, patients/clients/residents, and families. Working with the mNPR Executive Director and Directors, organizes and coordinates the functions and activities for mNPR program services. Acts as a facilitator and communication link among various stakeholder groups to advance program objectives. Coordinates information flow among the teams/members and plays a critical role in ensuring deliverables progress smoothly. Liaises with internal and external stakeholders such as internal FH corporate and clinical services, other health authorities, MoH, and other key partners as identified. Functions as the central point of contact for the coordination of designated programs/ initiatives and compiles confidential information. Manages related workflow procedures, electronic files and documents, summaries and reports, reviews, and catalogues tools/resources/materials/records.
Responsibilities
Coordinates, manages, and provides organization support for assigned program related activities. Identifies, schedules and tracks deliverables, milestones and required tasks. Identifies, records, and monitors issues from discovery through to resolution. Functions as the central point of contact, prepares and distributes communications, drafts correspondence, receives and responds to related queries, liaises with internal and external stakeholders including clarifying information and resolving issues and/or, escalating queries to the director and executive director as appropriate. Maintains current lists for key contacts, program service providers, and facilitators. Assists in the evaluation by coordinating participation and evaluation information, assisting with preliminary analysis, and generating summaries, and other related reports and contributes to the evaluation and assessment of program outcomes. Reviews existing practices and provides recommendations to mNPR portfolio leaders on improving guidelines, efficiencies, and effectiveness. Catalogues written and electronic records. Coordinates and maintains processes for receiving, reviewing, processing, tracking, filing, cataloguing, and retrieving materials, resources, and records. Establishes and maintains databases and records, including those related to sensitive information. Promotes the use of related databases at Fraser Health and may provide guidance and training to users. Maintain up to date contact information and liaise on an ongoing basis with internal departments and external partners. Provides support including coordinating programs across a variety of mediums and preparing meeting materials, developing/sending communications, collecting/summarizing resource materials, maintaining electronic files, and preparing/editing/maintaining documents, web pages, and SharePoint site files. Maintains budget data including analyzing, reconciling, recommending changes, projecting requirements. Participates on assigned internal and external committees as appropriate. Utilizing relevant literature, key metrics and best-practice outcomes and processes, evaluates and summarizes information findings; prepares summary reports and briefing notes to document and present data and information; develops conclusions and recommendations for presentation to Director and appropriate stakeholders to support development of project scope and outcomes.
Qualifications
Graduation from a diploma program in administration, project management, adult education, or related field and five (5) years recent, related experience in an education, business or health care environment Competencies: Demonstrates the leadership practices of the Fraser Health Leadership Framework of Clear, Caring and Courageous and creates the conditions for people to succeed. Professional/Technical Capabilities: Ability to coordinate and evaluate processes and procedures. Strong attention to detail. Ability to plan, organize, problem solve, analyze, and prioritize work. Strong proficiency with and ability to develop systems using a variety of computer software including database applications, internet-based applications, and MS Office at an intermediate to advanced level. Ability to learn software database applications. Demonstrated ability to coordinate information among a variety of stakeholders. Ability to exercise tact and discretion in dealing with external agencies such as Health Authorities and Ministry of Health. Ability to gather, summarize and present information to various groups and stakeholders. Ability to work both independently and within a team environment. Ability to multi-task among several projects/initiatives concurrently. Ability to operate related equipment including applicable software applications. Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
