We are currently seeking aProduction Technicianto join our custom sign manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys hands‑on work, and wants to grow their skills across multiple fabrication disciplines. Whether you have sign experience or experience in carpentry, metalwork, manufacturing, printing, assembly, or general shop work — we want to meet you. If you bring a strong work ethic, a positive mindset, and a willingness to learn, we will teach you the rest.

Your Responsibilities Depending on experience and training, you will take part in a variety of production tasks, including:
Fabrication & Assembly:

  • Assist in the preparation and assembly of custom metal components, including basic fabrication and weld support.

  • Assemble signage of various types, including channel letters, dimensional letters, and illuminated signs.

  • Shape, cut, sand, or prep sign components as required.

Shop & Equipment Operation:

  • Assist with CNC router operations, vinyl application, digital printing, and large‑format equipment.

  • Participate in paint prep and finishing support in the paint booth.

  • Help with LED wiring, electrical assembly, and specialty sign builds.

Production Support:

  • Review work orders and shop drawings with guidance.

  • Plan work ahead, ensuring tasks are prioritized according to Production Manager requirements.

  • Log time and job progress in the company ERP system.

Quality & Safety:

  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace and report hazards when identified.

  • Follow Twilight’s Health and Safety policies along with Ministry of Labour requirements.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Suggest ideas to improve efficiency, workflow, or production quality.

  • Participate in cross‑training across different shop areas.

What You Bring

  • Experience in any hands‑on, shop, fabrication, production, or assembly role (sign experience is an asset but NOT required)

  • Ability to use basic hand tools and willingness to learn specialized equipment

  • Ability to read or learn to read shop drawings

  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

  • Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to work as part of a collaborative team

  • Forklift certification is an asset

  • Ability to speak, read, and write English
