We are currently seeking an energetic and highly motivated sales professional to fill the position of Senior Account Manager for our Performance Adhesives & Specialties group. In this role, you will take ownership of a territory focuses on Quebec , a market with significant untapped potential. You will also manage key customer relationships in the Maritimes (visit twice / year). You’ll have the autonomy to execute growth strategies, backed by the support of a collaborative team and a company that invests in your success. Reporting to the Business Director, the Senior Account Manager will be responsible of promoting Quadra's products in the performance adhesives and specialties industry with a focus on our adhesive lines used in flexible packaging , general packaging/labeling , product assembly and industrial rubber applications on substrates applications . In addition, the Senior Account Manager will also be responsible for promoting our grease and lubricant product line within relevant market segments. We are looking for a candidate with strong analytical skills and the ability to understand manufacturing processes in order to propose tailored solutions to customers and prospects.
What would be your main responsibilities as a Senior Account Manager – Performance Adhesives & Specialties:
- Drive growth and profitability by promoting our portfolio of performance adhesives, coatings and specialties used for flexible packaging, general packaging, labeling, product assembly and rubber to substrates applications, as well as our grease and lubricants product line
- Maintain and expand customer base, ensuring long-term partnerships while consistently seeking opportunities to increase share of market
- Lead and manage key customer relationships, aligning activities with Quadra’s core values, customer-first philosophy, and strategic business objectives
- Identify, qualify, and influence key decision-makers, developing trust-based relationships that result in repeat business and new account acquisition
- Strategically prospect and develop new accounts, leveraging cold calling, industry events, and networking to capture new market opportunities
- Collaborate with customers on technical challenges, providing solutions, troubleshooting support, and optimization opportunities that differentiate Quadra in the marketplace
- Negotiate and close complex business deals, including contract development and execution, ensuring customer and company requirements are fully met
- Lead the development and closure of new business opportunities, including coordinating requirements, negotiating terms, and ensuring seamless contract execution
- Actively represent Quadra in the market through customer visits, joint calls with suppliers, and participation in key industry events and trade shows
- Proactively prospect and engage potential customers through targeted outreach and business development initiatives.
- Provide timely and accurate sales reporting and territory planning, ensuring transparency and alignment with business objectives.
- Contribute to financial forecasting and strategic planning, offering market insights and sales projections to support informed decision-making.
- Act as an internal mentor and subject matter expert, demonstrating curiosity to continuously learn while effectively communicating complex technical information in a clear and accessible manner.
- Support the Sales Manager and broader team with special projects, cross-functional collaboration, and initiatives that strengthen Quadra’s market position.
Having the following qualifications and skills will make you the ideal candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Administration, Marketing, or in a Science/Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years in a professional B2B sales role with proven success in prospecting, business development, customer retention, and consistent sales growth
- Strong understanding of the manufacturing sector, including assembly line processes and plant engineering; prior experience in the industrial adhesives market is a strong asset
- Strong analytical and technical abilities with the capacity to learn, troubleshoot, and communicate complex adhesive, coating, sealant, grease, and lubricant applications.
- Capacity to understand and communicate complex adhesive, coating, sealant, grease, and lubricant applications in diverse industrial settings.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to build trust-based, long-term partnerships with customers at all organizational levels.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize effectively, manage tight timelines, and optimize territory coverage.
- Clear, confident communicator able to translate technical information into accessible insights for diverse audiences
- Capable of managing competing priorities, responding to urgent needs, and thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced market
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred)
- Skilled in contract development, negotiation, and closing complex business deals while balancing customer and company requirements
- Strong team player - Experience working with suppliers, internal teams, and industry partners to maximize customer value
Working Conditions
- Must have a valid driver's license and a valid passport in order to be able to travel outside of Canada
- Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time, including overnight travel
- Comfortable working in manufacturing plants to oversee trials, provide technical troubleshooting, and ensure solutions are successfully implemented
- Flexibility: Ability to collaborate with customers on technical challenges, provide troubleshooting support, and propose tailored solutions. This role requires to be available for occasional after-hour emergencies

Compensation Information: The annual base pay range for this position is reasonably expected to be $85,900 to $145,000. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
Base salary is only a part of the total rewards package - this role will also be eligible for a generous incentive program and benefits. Quadra’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. Please note that the base pay shown qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
