The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an Analyst I, Category Procurement – IT Services to join our Procurement team in Toronto.

The role is a permanent hybrid position**.** This posting is for an existing position vacancy.

As an Analyst I, Category Procurement, you will execute the procurement of materials, equipment and services at the lowest total cost of ownership (TCO) possible while incorporating Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices and ensure that all procurement activities are carried out in a timely and financially responsible manner, to best meet organizational objectives in compliance with corporate policies.

Additionally, in this position you will:

• Lead RFP processes to meet internal customer requirements, ensuring satisfactory evaluations.
• Conduct thorough cost analysis to support optimal procurement decision-making.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct complex negotiations to secure favorable terms, minimize risks, and generate value.
• Analyze data, market trends, and supplier capabilities to provide actionable procurement insights.
• Manage sourcing and contracting activities for IT services, ensuring alignment with business needs and internal procurement policies.
• Support the procurement of technology consulting services, including supplier selection, scope definition, and contract negotiation.

About You

Education:

• Bachelors Degree

Experience:

• 3-5 years’ of work experience

Skills:

• Strong organizational and communication skills (verbal and written) with a customer service-driven mindset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards).
• Experience in leading RFP processes and conducting thorough cost analysis for procurement decision-making.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Expertise in conducting complex negotiations to secure favorable terms and minimize risks.
• Analytical thinking to evaluate data, market trends, and supplier capabilities for actionable insights.
• Ability to structure and discuss scopes of work, contracting models and complex service agreements
