Salary Range: $46.63 Hourly We’re looking for a safety-driven Distribution Operator to support our Burrard Terminal Operations Team. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of product handling, equipment monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities: Manage fuel material by receiving product into tanks via rail, pipeline and marine vessels, transferring product from tank to tank, and draining and preparing equipment for maintenance Hook up and offload railcars and accurately complete documentation as required Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment Conduct sampling and testing as per the schedule or when required due to quality issues Monitor equipment conditions regularly and address any deviations in a timely manner Issue or authorize work permits in accordance with our standards Maintain and exchange a detailed account of the day’s activities and actions taken to mitigate risks and to ensure optimal shift transitions Participate in emergency situations including fires and spills as required Maintain competencies of new procedures or relevant changes to the manuals and documentation, and ensure regulatory training and certifications are up to date Location and key details: You will work out of our Burrard Products terminal office located at 1155 Glenayre Drive, Port Moody, British Columbia This is a permanent part-time position with the potential to be a full-time role in the future The shift schedule may vary and could be an eight, ten or 12-hour shift with the potential of working up to 40 hours per week based on business unit needs; flexibility required This position is eligible for overtime This position is safety sensitive Think we are a fit?
