6 month contract + extensions Hybrid 4x per week in Toronto Pay: $50-60/hr incorp
Must Haves
5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master supporting Agile software development teams Strong experience facilitating Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives Experience coaching teams on Agile principles, Scrum best practices, and continuous improvement Experience identifying and removing delivery impediments to help teams achieve sprint goals Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to work across business and technical teams Experience using Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence Experience tracking delivery metrics, sprint progress, and team performance
Nice to Haves
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or SAFe certification Experience supporting large enterprise digital transformation or modernization initiatives Experience working with distributed or offshore teams Background in financial services, technology, or other regulated industries Previous experience as a Project Manager, Business Analyst, Developer, or QA prior to becoming a Scrum Master
Job Description
Insight Global is hiring a Scrum Master to support Agile delivery initiatives for a dynamic and collaborative team. This individual will be responsible for facilitating Scrum ceremonies, coaching team members on Agile methodologies, and driving the successful delivery of software development projects. The Scrum Master will work closely with Product Owners, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities, remove impediments, and promote a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will bring strong servant leadership skills, a proactive approach to problem solving, and the ability to foster collaboration across cross-functional teams while ensuring Agile best practices are followed throughout the software development lifecycle.
