About the role

Reporting to the Site Manager, the Leasing Agent plays a key role in achieving full occupancy across our communities while delivering an exceptional resident experience. This role combines customer service, sales, and administration to ensure all leasing processes—from inquiry to move-in—are completed efficiently and with care. The Leasing Specialist will serve as the first point of contact for prospects and help maintain strong tenant relationships aligned with Prokey’s values.

What you’ll be doing

• Coordinate, schedule, and conduct property showings and open houses.

• Handle all incoming leasing inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins.

• Own the lead-to-lease experience — from the first inquiry to move-in and follow-up.

• Screen and qualify tenants, completing reference, credit, and landlord checks.

• Process applications, lease agreements, and renewals accurately in Yardi or other software.

• Draft and deliver notices and letters as needed.

• Conduct move-in and move-out inspections to ensure unit readiness and satisfaction.

• Collaborate with the Site Manager and Property Management team to resolve tenant concerns promptly.

• Maintain accurate leasing and occupancy records to support operational targets.

What we’re looking for

• 1–2 years of experience in leasing, sales, or customer service.

• High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).

• Experience with Yardi or other property management software is an asset.

• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.

• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a passion for helping people find their home.
