The Role
As a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, you will be a strategic advisor and expert recruiter responsible for driving talent acquisition initiatives across key areas of the business, focusing on complex or specialized roles. You will build deep partnerships with hiring leaders, influencing their talent strategies and leading the full-cycle recruitment process with a focus on delivering exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences. Leveraging your expertise, you will play a critical role in achieving ambitious hiring targets, optimizing recruitment processes, and contributing to our overall workforce planning and strategy. You will mentor and guide other team members and champion our employer brand in the market.
What you'll be doing:
- Serve as a trusted strategic partner and talent advisor to hiring managers and senior leaders, influencing hiring decisions and providing insights on market trends, talent availability, and compensation.
- Develop and execute effective and innovative sourcing strategies to attract high-quality active and passive candidates for niche roles, going beyond traditional methods.
- Conduct in-depth candidate screening and assessment, effectively evaluating not just skills and experience but also cultural fit and long-term potential for specialized positions.
- Own and elevate the candidate experience from initial contact through to onboarding, ensuring clear communication, timely feedback, and a positive representation of Neo for all candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to develop detailed job descriptions, define candidate profiles for challenging roles, and build effective interview processes.
- Utilize data and metrics to inform recruitment strategies, track progress, identify areas for improvement, and provide meaningful reports to stakeholders.
- Proactively build and nurture talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
- Mentor and provide guidance to Talent Acquisition Partners and Coordinators, sharing best practices and contributing to the team's overall development in sourcing and assessment.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and workflows, contributing to increased efficiency and effectiveness of the Talent Acquisition function.
- Represent Neo at industry events, career fairs, and networking opportunities to build our employer brand and attract specialized talent.
- Stay informed on talent acquisition trends, best practices, and relevant employment legislation.
Who we are looking for:
- 5+ years of progressive recruitment experience in a fast-paced environment, with a proven track record of successfully hiring for complex, specialized, or senior-level positions.
- Demonstrated experience partnering strategically with and influencing hiring managers and senior stakeholders on challenging searches.
- Strong expertise in advanced sourcing techniques and platforms, with the ability to creatively identify and engage passive candidates for niche roles.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex priorities and requisitions simultaneously in a high-pressure, dynamic environment.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- A data-driven approach to recruitment, with the ability to use metrics to inform strategy and measure success on key hires.
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior recruiters is highly desirable.
- Previous experience at a start-up is considered an asset.
- Experience recruiting in a sales-oriented or D2C environment is an asset.
- You possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- You are proactive, eager to learn, and thrive in a rapidly evolving company.
- You are a passionate advocate for Neo's mission and values, and effectively communicate these to potential candidates.
