Charity Description

Business in the Streets (BITS) is a Canadian charity that helps young people create their own jobs. Responsibilities

  • Follow up with your mentee and keeping them accountable, always through the lens of empathy first
  • Share advice and work experiences that you believe will support your mentee’s development as an entrepreneur
  • Support your mentee during live Saturday Zoom sessions for the duration of the program

Qualifications

Whether you’ve started your own business or are working in someone else’s — we’re looking for people who understand the value of their experience and want to make a meaningful impact.

In addition, you are:

  • A business professional working in marketing, strategy, sales, finance or other fields relevant to small business, or
  • An entrepreneur with at least 3+ years experience
  • Excellent people skills (patient, creative, compassionate)
  • Available Saturdays from September 6th to November 1st
