The Bartender provides exceptional fine dining experiences through expert wine service, crafted beverages, and attentive table support. Responsibilities include guiding guests through wine selections, preparing and serving drinks, assisting with food service as needed, and maintaining a polished, organized bar and dining area. This role ensures seamless service and upholds the restaurant’s high standards of hospitality.
Position Details
- Seasonal: May– November 2026
- Full-Time & Part-Time opportunities available
What You Will Do
- Serve wine, cocktails, and other beverages with accuracy, professionalism, and attention to presentation.
- Provide exemplary fine dining service, maintain an extensive knowledge of wines
- Assist with food service as needed, including taking orders, delivering dishes, and supporting servers during busy periods.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar and beverage stations.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and report shortages or discrepancies.
- Deliver genuine warmth and care to every guest, creating a welcoming and memorable atmosphere.
- Demonstrate a true passion for hospitality while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment by staying organized, efficient, and calm under pressure.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure seamless service and support overall restaurant success.
What We’re Looking For
- Current Serving it Right certificate
- 1 year bartending experience, preferably in fine dining or wine-focused establishments.
- Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, and cocktail preparation.
- Intermediate knowledge of wine - WSET level 1 or equivalent experience is an asset
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in B.C.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
