Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of related business experience in sales, business development, consulting, banking, investing, M&A sourcing, technology/software, investor relations, or entrepreneurship/startups.
• Experience or familiarity with the public safety, education or government technology market is a strong asset.
• A genuine interest in corporate development, M&A, and portfolio growth.
• Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple opportunities.
• A self-starter who thrives on new challenges, takes initiative, and enjoys continuous learning.
• Financial literacy and an understanding of software and technology businesses are considered assets.

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a full‑time, remote Corporate Development Associate to focus on sourcing and developing acquisition opportunities within vertical market software businesses across North America. This position involves engaging directly with business owners and senior decision makers, building and maintaining long‑term M&A relationships, communicating investment strategies, qualifying potential acquisition targets, and managing outreach and pipeline activity within Salesforce. The individual will report directly to the Director of Corporate development and partner closely with the M&A transactions team to move qualified opportunities through the deal pipeline.
