The Role
As an Industrial Mechanic at Ganong, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimizing our production machinery and equipment. Your expertise will ensure the seamless operation of our facilities, allowing us to produce our renowned confections with the highest standards of quality and efficiency. You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues, and executing timely repairs. By keeping our production processes running smoothly, you will contribute to our mission of crafting confections that inspire life's sweetest moments.

The ideal candidate for the Industrial Mechanic role should possess strong mechanical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety. They need to be proficient in diagnosing and fixing equipment issues, interpreting technical documents, and using various tools effectively. Good communication and teamwork skills are also important for collaborating with colleagues and ensuring smooth operations.
Qualifications

High school Diploma or equivalent, Vocational, or technical training in industrial mechanics preferred.

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
