As a key player in the financial services marketplace of Northern Ontario we are excited to announce that we are currently seeking a Small Business Account Manager.
Reporting to the Director of Business Relationship Banking, the Small Business Account Manager plays a key role in supporting and growing Northern’s Small Business Banking portfolio. This role is responsible for identifying opportunities and providing a holistic approach to meeting the needs of Small Business members across Northern’s footprint. Areas of focus include commercial lending, deposits, Visa, Clover, and referrals to Wealth and Retail services.
The Small Business Account Manager also manages ongoing reporting requirements (including Past Due, Security Deficiencies, and Smart Sheet updates) and conducts annual account reviews to ensure compliance, risk management, and alignment with member needs.
Preferred candidates will possess the following qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on sales and business development.
- University degree, college diploma, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven experience in portfolio management, with the ability to build, strengthen, and maintain long-term member relationships.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with the region, its culture, and the needs of small and medium-sized businesses.
- Solid understanding of financial statements, credit structures, and lending procedures.

Salary Range: $64,144 - $72,162
