Your contribution! Coordinator responsible for monitoring information on the portfolio of energy projects under development and M&A (mergers and acquisitions) activities. Responsible for maintaining and developing the procedures put in place, in close collaboration with the project management teams. Plays a central role in consolidating and disseminating project information across the four regions in which the company operates. With a high degree of autonomy and a strong spirit of collaboration, the coordinator works in synergy with the vice presidents responsible for the regions and their respective teams. Possesses expertise in communication and presentation, which is essential for the production of material for the Board of Directors and various activity reports.
Your day-to-day! Project portfolio control
- Work closely with regional vice presidents, project managers, and project teams to monitor project progress and status;
- Coordinate the consolidation of project information, across the four regions where the company operates, in the project data management platform (INNsite);
- Organize and facilitate recurring meetings, while ensuring effective management of schedules and follow-ups;
- Ensure the quality and reliability of project-related data. Maintain data quality and verify the legitimacy of project data, requested changes in enterprise systems and software, and corporate reports. Identify discrepancies or inconsistencies and recommend corrective actions;
- Create new projects in the database according to the procedure established by the company and ensure that teams follow the project life cycle process as defined by the company; create accounting codes, project teams, open document files, monitor budgets, and other key performance indicators;
- Ensure approval of the status progress of all projects according to the company's process and measure the progress of projects in the pipeline using project maturity table analysis;
- Produce quarterly presentations for the Board of Directors and coordinate project activity reports with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and accounting departments;
- Participate in the continuous improvement process for our project information centralization platform;
- Assist in coordinating the annual budget process;
- Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with key members of the project team;
- Identify and recommend improvements to business processes that affect their own area; Can implement potential improvements to processes in their own area and in related areas.
Control of acquisition and sale of projects (M&A)
- Interact with the Vice President of Investment and Financing and his team;
- Responsible for managing the acquisition@innergex.com email account and exercising discretion regarding the highly confidential nature of the information;
- Ensure that data concerning new projects is entered into the M&A pipeline;
- Coordinate the integration of M&A projects in accordance with existing processes (project code, team, secure file, etc.);
- Monitor the progress of M&A projects and coordinate overall progress monitoring;
- Participate in weekly meetings and provide support to the team.
Your skills, our requirements!
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar position.
- University degree in Business Administration or any other relevant discipline.
- Experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems, databases, and ERP.
- Experience in business process improvement is an asset.
- Proven ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines in a context of changing priorities.
- Strong organizational skills, independence, and proactivity.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, tact, and professionalism.
- Proven ability to work in a team.
- Strong ability to synthesize information and analytical skills.
- Great attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Bilingualism (French and English, both spoken and written) required to ensure collaboration with various stakeholders outside Quebec on a recurring basis.

- The position is based at the company's head office in Longueuil, steps away from the Longueuil-Université de Sherbrooke metro station.
- This position is a P1 level.
