We are a building supply and project centre providing project providing contractors and do-it yourself builders with the tools, materials, design, and construction services to support projects of any scale.

The successful candidate will have duties such as but not limited to:
Design & Drafting:
- Create and develop architectural designs, drawings, plans, diagrams, and layouts using Revit, AutoCAD, SoftPlan, or similar software.
- Add structural details to architectural plans with consideration for current building techniques and construction standards.
- Ensure all drawings conform to the National Building Code (Part 3 and Part 9), client specifications, and project requirements.
- Prepare construction documentation packages including detailed working drawings and 3D renderings as needed.
- Participate in preconstruction meetings to gather project requirements and define the design scope.
- Revise designs based on feedback from clients, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
Project Coordination:
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional project teams including internal teams (Project Managers, Sales, Design and Estimating, etc.), engineers, tradespersons, and site supervisors.
- Track project priorities and ensuring deadlines are met for design submissions and estimation milestones.
- Prepare final design and production packages for construction handoff.
- Support communication between departments to maintain alignment on project goals and timelines.
- All other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 7–10 years of experience in architectural drafting, design, and construction estimating.
- Strong understanding of the National Building Code (Part 3 and Part 9).
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SoftPlan, and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
- Excellent knowledge of construction methods, building materials (wood, steel, plastics, etc.), and industry standards.
- Familiarity with BisTrack or similar project management/estimating software is an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Construction industry experience, particularly with RTM or modular builds, is considered a strong asse
