Position Details:
Job Type: fulltime, permanent
Vacancy: This posting is for an existing vacancy
Compensation: $45,000 - $50,000

What you will be doing:
- Manage daily cash operations, deposits, and bank reconciliations
- Oversee petty cash and pre-authorized vendor payments
- Process online bill payments accurately and on time
- Enter and process vendor invoices in QuickBooks
- Monitor approvals and ensure timely payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Communicate with vendors regarding billing and payment inquiries
- Reconcile corporate credit card transactions
- Import and code expense data from Float into QuickBooks
- Ensure compliance with expense policies and documentation standards
- Process customer refunds and support accurate tip pool payouts
- Post intercompany journal entries
- Assist with month-end and year-end close
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
- Provide support for accounting systems (QuickBooks, Float, Event Temple)
- Contribute to process improvements and internal controls
- Other related duties as required
###Qualifications:

Post secondary education in accounting, finance or a related field required

Experience working in accounting is considered an asset

General understanding of computerized accounting systems

Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and QuickBooks
-
Accuracy and attention to detail while working under tight deadlines

Good interpersonal and customer service skills
-
Good time management and prioritization skills
-
Ability to interpret and apply Company policies
-
Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization
