As SEO Manager, you will lead the strategic evolution of our organic search efforts, expanding beyond traditional SEO to improve visibility across emerging AI search platforms. You’ll be responsible for capturing high-value traffic from diverse sources, while continuously optimizing the buyer’s journey to drive meaningful engagement and conversions. You’ll align SEO initiatives with broader business goals, ensuring our content is not only discoverable but also impactful. A skilled collaborator, you’ll work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure our digital presence is consistent, compelling, and competitive. You balance high standards with quick execution and are excited about the power of learning.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and own the long-term SEO roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional SEO initiatives across Absorb and Together marketing teams
  • Develop a strong understanding of Absorb and Together customers and prospects to strengthen our topical authority.
  • Collaboration with web development team for SEO audits and implementation.
  • Collaborate with the entire marketing team to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all aspects of content creation and website development
  • Own and conduct CRO initiatives for resource hubs and blog pages.
  • Define SEO KPIs and build dashboards to track performance and ROI.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform strategy.
  • Evaluate and implement AI tools for content creation, optimization, and personalization.
  • Stay ahead of SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
  • Mentor and coach team members and contractors on the Absorb and Together teams in emerging SEO practices like AEO, structured data, and AI visibility.

What you’ll bring:

  • A degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, or Computer Science related field is ideal but not required.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a corporate SEO content role.
  • Strategic SEO leadership with a proven track record of driving organic growth across multiple platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using SEO tools to identify opportunities, track performance, and inform decision-making.
  • Experience with CRO and a deep understanding of how SEO impacts the buyer’s journey and conversion funnels.
  • Technical SEO knowledge, including structured data, site architecture, and page speed optimization, with the ability to collaborate effectively with web development teams.
  • Content and topical authority development skills, with a keen understanding of audience needs and search intent.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and a curiosity for experimenting with new technologies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience leading cross-functional initiatives and mentoring team members.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices, with a proactive approach to continuous learning and adaptation.
