Summary/Objective

This role would assist the accounting & finance team as well as the trust team.

Essential Functions

  • Assists in preparation of monthly reporting package.
  • Work with Trust manager and IT to review backup of contracts and review deferred revenue.
  • Work with Treasury manager to perform data cleanup and close or consolidate accounts.
  • Input accounts payable invoices for processing.
  • Performs projects and other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Experience, Certifications and Licensure

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in accounting, finance, or related business program.

Preferred Education, Experience, Certifications and Licensure

  • Minimum of six (6) months to 1 year work experience in a professional setting is preferred.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of Sage considered a strong asset.
  • Fast and accurate data entry skills coupled with strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Skill to analyze data and provide recommendations.
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Must be able to work independently, prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

  • This position may also require reaching, pushing, and pulling.
  • Employees may be exposed to chemicals and/or blood borne pathogens. Exposure risk is considered: Low
  • Overtime is sometimes necessary or required.

Travel

  • This position may require up to 10 percent out of area and overnight travel.
  • Travel is primarily local occurring during the business day only.
