Location: McMaster University- Hamilton, ON Start Date: December 2025 The David Braley Sport Medicine & Rehabilitation Centre , located within the Athletics and Recreation Center at McMaster University, is a long-standing, multidisciplinary clinic renowned for its exceptional comprehensive patient care. We serve a diverse population of community members, university students, and athletes of all ages and activity levels.
We are currently seeking a skilled and energetic Sports Medicine Physician to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a multi-disciplinary environment alongside experienced clinicians, including world-renowned sports medicine physician Dr. David Levy.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical assessments, diagnoses, and non-surgical treatment for musculoskeletal injuries.
- Collaborate with allied health care specialists to develop personalized treatment plans using the best evidence of innovative medical care practices.
- Oversee and administer musculoskeletal ultrasound-guided interventional therapies injections (including hyaluronic acid preparations).
- Educate patients on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance optimization.
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold the highest standards of patient care and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD).
- SEM fellowship trained and Diploma preferred.
- GP focused practice designation preferred.
- License to practice in Ontario and full malpractice insurance.
- In good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
- Experience in interventional procedures is considered an asset.
