L’architecte - informatique de l'entreprise définit et facilite l’élaboration de l’architecture de la TI actuelle et future d’Air Canada nécessaire pour répondre aux besoins organisationnels, aux objectifs et à l’orientation stratégique. L’architecte en poste fera aussi la promotion de la réutilisation des composants ainsi que l’uniformisation des technologies, et veillera à ce que les normes et les modifications apportées à l’architecture soient documentées, acceptées et mises en œuvre au moyen des meilleures pratiques en matière de conception et de solution.
Le candidat retenu relèvera du directeur – Technologies de l’information
Qualifications
- Diplôme universitaire ou certificat technique pertinent, ou expérience pertinente et proportionnelle au poste.
- Expérience significative (généralement 5 ans ou plus) en technologie de l’information, opérations, leadership et stratégie dans une organisation de taille moyenne ou grande.
- Expérience avec des outils et cadres de modélisation d’architecture d’entreprise (p. ex. : LeanIX, Archimate, Bizbok).
- Expérience en conception de solutions dans un environnement infonuagique (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Connaissance des technologies émergentes telles que l’IA/AA (p. ex. : LLM, systèmes agentiques) et de leurs applications potentielles en entreprise sera considérée comme un atout,
- Une expérience en matière de systèmes et de technologies propres aux transporteurs aériens sera considérée comme un atout.
- Proactif et capable de travailler de façon autonome et collaborative
- Habileté à analyser un problème de façon logique, systématique et séquentielle.
- Habileté à travailler efficacement sous pression dans un environnement en constante évolution ou dans des conditions incertaines.
- Ouverture démontrée et volonté de s’adapter aux méthodes de travail nouvelles ou différentes.
- Habileté à coopérer avec d’autres membres d’une équipe, ainsi qu’à établir et à développer des relations d’affaires efficaces.
- Capacité à s’exprimer efficacement (à l’oral et à l’écrit) avec tous les échelons de l’organisation.

The Enterprise Architect will work to define and facilitate the development of Air Canada’s current and future IT architecture required to meet organizational needs, goals, and strategic direction. The incumbent will also promote component reuse, standardization of technologies and ensures that the standards and changes to the architecture are documented, agreed to and implemented through best practices of designing and solutioning
This position will be reporting to the Director, Technology Architecture
Qualifications :
- A relevant University degree/technical certification, and/or relevant experience commensurate to the role
- Significant experience (typically 5+ years) of IT technology, operations, leadership and strategy in a medium to large organization
- Experience with enterprise architecture modeling tools and frameworks (e.g., LeanIX, Archimate, Bizbok)
- Experience designing solutions in a cloud-first environment (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI/ML (e.g., LLMs, agentic systems) and their potential enterprise applications is considered an asset.
- Experience in airline related systems and technologies is considered an asset
- Proactive and able to work both independently and collaboratively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a systematic approach
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in rapidly changing environments or uncertain conditions.
- Demonstrates openness and willingness to adapt to different and new ways of doing things
- Ability to work cooperatively with others on a team, and to establish and maintain effective business relationships
- Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) effectively with all levels of the organization
- Flexibility to adapt to business needs, including occasional extended hours when required
- Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment.
