About the role

Northside Industries is a leading manufacturer of steel and aluminum fabrications serving the Forestry, Heavy Duty Truck, and Mining industries throughout Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest. We are seeking aSales Operations Coordinatorto join our team in West Kelowna. This role combines technical estimating capability with commercial operations ownership, ensuring RFQs are processed efficiently while establishing the infrastructure that enables disciplined sales execution.

The position will own the quote workflow, CRM infrastructure, proposal development, and sales enablement tools, allowing the Business Development team to focus on customer development and revenue generation.

This role is ideal for someone who understands manufacturing quoting and technical estimating, but is equally motivated to build processes, systems, and tools that scale commercial performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide professional customer service via phone and email

  • Lead RFQ intake and manage the end-to-end quoting process.

  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to prepare competitive quotations.

  • Coordinate costing inputs with engineering, purchasing, and production teams.

  • Manage quote approvals, documentation, and submission timelines.

  • Deploy and maintain CRM systems to support pipeline management and reporting.

  • Develop and maintain sales collateral, proposal templates, and capability materials.

  • Maintain a centralized quoting repository and historical cost database.

  • Support Business Development with proposal preparation and customer follow-up.

  • Identify cost-reduction opportunities and improve quoting workflows.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3 years of customer service or sales support experience

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment considered an asset

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot preferred).

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel

  • Experience preparing RFQs, cost models, and manufacturing quotations.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with internal teams

  • Self-starter who can build systems, improve workflows, and support a growing commercial organization.
