Summary
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Assurance Coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day quality checks on the production floor while maintaining a prominent level of Quality checks at the repairs workshop and consumables.
Shift
Tues to Saturday; 7:00am to 3:00pm (Tues to Thurs) & 11:00am to 7:00pm (Fri & Sat); Flexibility in schedule expected as per business requirements
Pay Range
$22/hour to $24/hour
Responsibilities
- Perform regular quality checks on the production floor to ensure production meets client's standards for accuracy, etc.
- Record and report on the outcomes of the quality audits to the Supervisor.
- Participate in writing and maintaining Client Specifications following quality control guidelines.
- Work closely with all departments to ensure staff are working in compliance with client expectations.
- Provide recommendations for process improvement to reduce cost and improve quality.
- Assist with the preparation of external quality audits.
- Assist in creating and maintaining an environment that promotes positive communication within the facility as well as fostering teamwork within the operation.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Training e-commerce distribution center's team from beginning to end, according to the client’s quality expectations and adjusting training processes based on needs.
- Creating, adapting, and carrying out training programs and transmitting the correct philosophy of product care, quality, and image.
- Updating training manuals, always maintaining the client’s level of expectations.
- Responsible for creating and implementing a daily reporting system, gathering data across areas and shifts based on quality performance, error tracker, training tracker, customer claims, tidiness, and cleanliness.
- Responsible for all consumables on hand, coordinating needs, calculation, and order placing.
- Contributing to building and maintaining a team that is responsible of product care and training within the distribution center.
- Responsible for total quality across all shifts, areas, and processes.
- Complete paperwork and documentation accurately and effectively
Core Competencies
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent in English (Read, Write & Speak)
- Solid working knowledge of Windows, Excel, and Power Point
- Approachable, positive interpersonal style.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail.
- Service orientated with strong customer service skills and commitment to quality of work.
- Organized and shows strong attention to detail.
- Problem solving skills with the ability to seek alternative solutions.
- Ability to maintain professional standards of personal presentation, to represent the image of the brand.
EXPERIENCE
- 3PL experience would be an asset.
- E-Commerce experience is an asset.
- Flexible to work overtime when required.
- Experience in fashion retail is a plus
