AZ Truck Driver
Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking an AZ Truck Driver for ourNiagara Falls, Ontarioteam.

This position reports to the Fleet Manager and is based out of our Niagara Falls, Ontario office.
Responsibilities:
Your primary job responsibilities are the overall operation of fleet logistical equipment, in compliance with the Company's Health and Safety policies and procedures, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, the Highway Traffic Act, the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act, O. Reg 347 of the Environmental Protection Act, and all other applicable laws and regulations. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Operating:

- AZ class tractor trailer combinations including dry vans, vacuum tankers, roll-off trailer and dump trailer.
- DZ class straight truck equipment.
- G Class straight truck equipment.
- Paperwork: The compliant completion of all movement documentation, including work orders, bills of lading and waste manifests.
- Safety Marks: The compliant application of TDGA safety marks on all means of containment, including labels and placards.
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods from Canada to the United States, ensuring compliance with all cross-border regulations, customs procedures, and company policies.
- Loading: The Company service program provides clients with turnkey solutions, often requiring the manual self-loading and unloading of containerized waste materials for transport. This position is laborious and requires you to be physically capable. You are responsible for the loading process, load securement, and for its safety during transport.
- Customer Service: This role is equal parts operator and customer service representative. You are required to be presentable, industrious and professional on customer sites, engaging clients with courtesy.
- You will, at all times, faithfully, industriously and to the best of your skill, ability, and experience, perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
- In carrying out the duties and responsibilities of the position, you will comply with all Company policies, procedures, rules and regulations, both written and oral, as announced by the Company from time to time.
- Your normal hours of work will vary, with a minimum of 70 hours over a 2-week period. Overtime is mandatory and will comply with Ontario Ministry of Transportation Hours of Service Regulations. You will be expected to participate in a minimum of 8 Household Hazardous Waste Collection events on weekends.
- The Company engages in contracts that often require weekend work. Weekend work is mandatory and will comply with Ontario Ministry of Transportation Hours of Service Regulations.
- From time to time, you may be required to layover overnight. You will be entitled to a perdium.
Basic Requirements:
- Valid Class AZ Driver's License.
- Proficient with driving manual transmission
- Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have a reliable form of transportation
- Must be willing to provide an abstract for driving record
- Must be willing to have a background check completed
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to work overtime on a regular basis
- The Driver position frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste. This role is considered safety-sensitive
- Must be eligible to work in Canada without future sponsorship
