Position: Warehouse Associate Employment Type : Full Time Permanent Location: Calgary, AB DCM is a leading Canadian tech-enabled provider of print and digital solutions that help simplify complex marketing communications and operations workflow. The Role As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a key part in the daily operations of our warehouse by handling a wide range of tasks—including receiving, organizing, picking, packing, shipping and inventory. You will also serve as a critical point of contact for both internal teams and external partners,ensuring that all interactions are handled with professionalism and accuracy.
This role will work onsite in our Calgary location on day shift from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing paperwork for shipments, efficiently and accurately process, allocate and ship all customer orders and transfers.
- Print, review and check all shipping documents for all Shipments checking for accuracy, such as product, size, length, and total pieces.
- Create Bill of lading and any other shipping documentation associated with each shipment.
- Manage shared mailbox and reply to all requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Communicating any issues, questions or concerns clearly and in a timely manner to supervisors/managers.
- Assisting with inventory counts and management.
- Inspect machinery before use to ensure it is working properly.
- Ensure full compliance with all operating, sanitation, and safety standards.
Skills & Experiences
- 1+ years of professional work experience, with a strong willingness to learn; prior warehousing experience is a plus
- Basic computer skills including thorough knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Working knowledge of FedEx, UPS and Purolator shipping software is an asset
- Work within tight deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
- Previous experience or certification driving a forklift is preferred, but not required
- Strong mechanical or technical aptitude
- Proven ability to work as a team, with little or no supervision
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and will require lifting of up to 50lbs.
