Description

  • Responsible for the day to day operation of the locations within Northern Alberta.
  • Responsible for managing staffing & recruitment for all Retail, SRR and Clerical Operations Support
  • Accountable for managing the region's talent development, recruitment retention and training
  • Conduct store and terminal visits to ensure stores are operating according to national standards. Checks to include inventory management, store cleanliness, brand standards and equipment checks
  • Manage the store's budget to ensure GL is accurate and relevant
  • Provide monthly / quarterly reports as required to the Divisional Retail Manager
  • Monitor and track volume, revenue and Retail KPI's via Qlikview, PROS reports and Credits/Voids report
  • Track competitive analysis as required
  • Provide leadership to Retail team and support representatives through development, training and the Attendance Awareness Program
  • Attend Management meetings as required
  • Assist with territory management within the region to include: training, provide information, customer inquiries and act as Operations liaison for Agents, Staples, PUDO, Michaels and Drop Boxes

The schedule for this role is Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 5:00 EST, may be required to flex at times.

Responsibilities

  • Three to Five years Management experience preferred or related Purolator experience
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Decisive and competent self-starter
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Must be able to build and promote a well-functioning team environment
  • Exemplary oral and written communication skills required
  • Ability to travel up to 75%
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office: Word, Excel, Power Point, PROS, SAP: TMS, Portal
  • Financial Acumen

Additional Information

Please note, this is a permanent, full-time position and the hours of work will be dictated by the business need. Potential candidates should also be aware of the significant amount of travel required, as they will be responsible for various locations, which currently includes Northern Alberta, Red Deer, Grande Prairie, and Fort McMurray.
