Overview
Kitchen Manager (KM) Are you a passionate culinary leader ready to take charge of a high-performing kitchen? Boston Pizza CrossIron Mills is looking for a Kitchen Manager to lead our Heart-of-House (HOH) operations with a focus on food quality, safety compliance, team leadership, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with Boston Pizza standards and Alberta Health Services regulations. Lead pre-shift meetings, line checks, and safety audits to uphold food safety and quality. Manage food and supply inventory, control costs, and minimize waste (target <1% per shift). Maintain equipment functionality and coordinate timely repairs and preventative maintenance. Lead, coach, and develop your kitchen team with ongoing training and performance reviews. Ensure a clean, organized, and motivating work environment.
K-Time (kitchen speed): 85–90%
100% compliance on audits (AHS, CBSA, Steritech) with zero P1 or P2 violations Qualifications Previous experience in a KM role in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably Boston Pizza experience.
Require Food Safety Certificate and First Aid Certificate
A proactive, hands-on kitchen leader with strong organization and communication skills. Passionate about food quality, safety, and team development. Experienced in high-volume kitchen environments. Knowledgeable in AHS food safety standards and audit protocols. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
