Description
Wicehtowak Frontec Services is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our team
in Jansen, SK. The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance, inspections, modifications, installation/dismantling of electrical systems.
Where We Work and Live
The Jansen discovery Lodge is a workforce housing facility in support of the
potash mine. The camp is located 155 kilometers east of Saskatoon, SK.
Our positions work on a 14 day on, 7 days off rotation. Accommodations and
meals during your work rotations are provided by the company.
Responsibilities
-
Complete timely inspections, testing and accurate reporting of equipment defects / deficiencies
-
Conduct timely maintenance services and quality repair of equipment
-
Provide input to the Maintenance Coordinator for the planned and scheduled work and assist with the completion of the committed schedule
-
Assist with the scoping, estimating, planning and execution of new work or projects
-
Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance meets the requirements of the appropriate codes
-
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
-
Journeyman Certified Electrician (Red Seal) with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.

Current certificates in Fall Arrest, Confined Space, and Elevated Work Platform
-
Class 5 license and clean drivers abstract is required
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills
-
Able to read drawings and schematics
-
Ability to build and work in a team environment is crucial along with a strong commitment to personal and team safety
