Assistant Campus Manager

Overview
The Assistant Campus Manager is responsible for supporting the Campus Manager (CM) in the following areas: teacher and student support, academic administration, and classroom management at their campus/timeslot(s). A strong entrepreneurial leader, the Assistant Campus Manager provides exceptional leadership support to the CM in order to ensure the support and service of ILAC teachers, students, and Student Services Specialists. Under the guidance of the Campus Manager, the Assistant Campus Manager provides administrative support and leadership on all academic processes including class changes, academic appeals, academic reporting, classroom standards, teacher/student support, engagement and communication.
Responsibilities and Duties
Student Support
- Taking a customer-centric approach, the Assistant Campus Manager will be responsible for the complete student experience at their campus/timeslot
- Leads the Student Services support team to ensure that all academic and student service processes are customer focused, expedient and reviewed for continuous improvement
- Helps the student services team to direct requests to the right channel, and supports in the resolution of any disputes
- With the guidance of the CM, receives and manages students’ class change requests, analyzing individual requests, noting trends, and providing feedback and recommendations.
Classes
- With the support of the CM, ensures that classrooms meet ILAC quality standards of delivery through continuous communication with and education of teachers and student services staff
- Responsible for academic appeal and conditional pass requests
Teachers
- Supports the CM to ensure that the teachers under their care are well prepared, highly engaged, up to date on all academic and relevant news at ILAC
- In consultation with the Academic Training and Development team, contributes to teaching quality and success through training and performance management
- Communicates class/level changes after the bi-monthly test dates
Administration
- Ensure that classes are started on time, monitors attendance, answers attendance related questions, etc.
Requirements
- Educated to a degree level
- Complete fluency in English, and a second language is considered an asset
- Experience in Student Services or similar role, preferably in Education Industry
- Has enthusiasm, energy and a get it done attitude
- Is passionate about customer service and experience
- Has excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Has a sincere desire to work with international students
- Has the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strict attention to details
- Wants to contribute to a positive team environment
Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 1:15pm to 9:45pm & Sunday: 12:30pm to 9:00pm
