The Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented bilingual Junior Tandem System Administrator to join our team. In this role, the candidate will work closely with senior system administrators to support and maintain HP Non Stop Environment. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in mainframe systems with hands-on experience, structured training and mentorship.
The Tandem (HPNS) Systems Administrator role requires the resource to provide services in a customer, multi-vendor, multi-protocol complex network/systems environment. Interacts with the customer, vendors, and management to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Primary point of contact strictly for Tandem HPNS Systems Q&A
- Engages in identifying and resolving complex problems relating to products/service installation, update, configuration, operations, performance, or other aspects of information technology products and services.
- Possesses an in-depth knowledge of technical solutions and management tools.
- The employee guides functional objectives or technologies.
- Install and maintain Tandem (HPNS)
- Perform problem determination and resolution
- Participate in Disaster Recovery Test
- Participate in projects
