Who We're Looking For:
We're looking for an entry-level Business Development Representative who's truly excited to launch their career in sales. This is the perfect role for someone who is naturally organized, pays attention to every detail, and is eager to learn the business side of a fast-paced digital agency.
You'll be the reliable first voice our prospects hear, so if you're a clear communicator who's comfortable leading initial discovery chats and figuring out if a client is a great "right-fit" for Major Tom, you'll thrive here. Key Responsibilities:
- Discovery Meetings: Conduct structured discovery calls to understand a prospect's core business needs, goals, budget, and project constraints.
- Fit Assessment: Apply established criteria to quickly assess if a prospect is a "right-fit" client for Major Tom's services.
- Initial Scoping & Closing: Focus on scoping and closing smaller, entry-level engagements (e.g., audits, strategy pilots, small tactical projects) to get the client through the door.
- Research & Proposal Support: Utilize research tools to gather market data, summarize discovery findings, and support the creation of proposals.
- Handoff Excellence: Prepare a detailed "handoff package" (SOW, goals, stakeholders) and co-lead kickoff meetings with the Client Success team to ensure a clean transition for long-term growth.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and timely records of all prospect activity, status updates, and notes within the CRM system.
What We’re Looking For:
Not deal-breakers, but assets:
- Agency experience (internship or otherwise).
- Education in business or marketing communications.
- CRM experience, preferably HubSpot.

Compensation : $55,000 - $60,000 (Base Pay) + Bonus Structure
Location : Vancouver (Hybrid)
This role is based out of our Vancouver office, located in Yaletown, and requires four days of in-office work weekly .
