Responsibilities:

Office Administration

You will be instrumental in managing the Saskatoon office through organization and supply orders, event planning/coordination and travel support. You will manage shipping and receiving needs, coordination with the Innovation Place landlord, support safety inventory and other general support to our Saskatoon employees.

IT Liaison

You will leverage your IT expertise to support Okane’s external IT provider, ensuring efficient organization of IT inventory, overseeing procurement, and conducting thorough reviews of warranties and billing. Your expertise will allow you to manage the corporate cell phone plan, procurement and upgrades In Canada.

  • You’ll build strong professional relationships with coworkers in office and remotely that will support processes and procedures within the organization.

  • You actively integrate health, safety and environmental considerations into every aspect of your work. This may look like completing hazard assessments and other HSE project requirements, following internal procedures and policies, participating in safety training, and promoting a safety culture.

Qualifications:

  • We're on the lookout for someone with a background in a similar role and industry with a minimum of three years’ experience.

  • A relevant educational background that aligns with this role would be beneficial.

  • You will have the ability to thrive in a team setting or an independent environment.

  • You take a proactive approach to creating an efficient process in all responsibilities you have.

  • You have an eagerness and willingness to learn and grow outside of the parameters of the role.

  • Strong communication skills are essential, as are attention to detail.

  • You will be a strong outside the box thinker that will move the company and position forward while increasing the efficiency of the office.
