The Blueprint

The Manager, IT & Security Systems, will lead the team responsible for maintaining and securing the digital foundation that enables 1,300+ employees to work efficiently and safely. This role blends strategic planning, people leadership, and hands-on oversight of infrastructure and cybersecurity platforms. The role will ensure that Tridel’s IT environment remains reliable, compliant, and resilient—while driving modernization, automation, and Zero-Trust initiatives across the enterprise.

A Glimpse into Your Daily Activities

Strategic & Operational Leadership

  • Lead, build and and mentor a high-performing team of system engineers and administrators; set clear objectives, monitor performance, and foster professional growth.
  • Define the roadmap for infrastructure, endpoint, and security system evolution in alignment with corporate technology strategy.
  • Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring service quality, system uptime, and continuous improvement across all environments.
  • Establish KPIs, reporting, and operational governance to drive accountability, visibility, and proactive risk management.

Infrastructure & Systems Management

  • Direct the design, scalability, and lifecycle management of Tridel’s hybrid IT environment (on-prem and Azure).
  • Ensure reliability and resilience of core systems—Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD, M365, Intune, and endpoint platforms.
  • Oversee enterprise backup, replication, and disaster recovery readiness, ensuring business continuity.
  • Champion modernization and automation initiatives that enhance performance, efficiency, and security posture.

Cybersecurity Oversight

  • Own and manage cybersecurity platforms (CASB, PAM, EDR, MDM, and email security) ensuring strong defense and compliance posture.
  • Partner with corporate security teams to advance Zero-Trust adoption and integrate cybersecurity into business operations.
  • Lead vulnerability management, incident response coordination, and access governance reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with internal audit, privacy, and data protection standards across systems and vendors.

Vendor, Budget & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage infrastructure and security vendors, contracts, and licensing to ensure value delivery and SLA adherence.
  • Develop and manage budgets for infrastructure and security systems, balancing cost, performance, and innovation.
  • Partner with business and IT leadership to align technology investments with operational needs and strategic priorities.

The Architect of Your Success

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of progressive IT infrastructure and security operations experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
  • Proven experience managing hybrid environments (Windows, Azure, M365, Intune, AD, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity platforms (CASB, PAM, EDR, MDM, email security) and Zero-Trust principles.
  • Skilled in vendor management, budgeting, and service delivery frameworks (e.g., ITIL, NIST).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams through modernization, automation, and cloud transformation initiatives.
  • Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CISSP, or Security+ are assets.
  • A leadership mindset focused on building capable teams and secure, scalable systems.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
  • A forward-thinking approach that blends operational excellence with innovation and continuous improvement.
