Sturgeon Public Schools is seeking a Part-Time Permanent Library Technician for Namao School.
Located just minutes north of Edmonton and St. Albert, Namao School serves Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 9 with approximately 400 students and 38 staff. The school is known for its strong sense of community and commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and caring environment for student growth.
What You'll Be Doing
- Organize and display library materials to ensure resources are easily accessible
- Provide excellent customer service to students and staff
- Manage the school website and online calendars
- Support technology use, including iPads, laptops, Chromebooks, interactive whiteboards, and other devices
- Assist with computer troubleshooting and basic technical support
What You Bring
- Library and Information Technology Diploma (or equivalent education and related experience)
- Cataloguing training
- Training with Insignia, Office Suite, GAFE, and Hapara
- First Aid certification
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility, creativity, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to support and troubleshoot educational technology
- Clear Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check
