Compensation: $18.50 - $19.77 / hour

Description Reena is actively looking for Contract, Part-Time Recreational Support Workers ( RSWs) to work within its Community Outreach programs. As an RSW, you would provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities.

This is a great opportunity for University/College students looking for Part-Time employment. There is potential for extensions and growth within the agency.

Position Details Role Type: Temporary Contract – Part-Time

Term: January 4, 2026, to March 2, 2026

Schedule:

  • Sunday: 11:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Monday: 5:30 PM – 9:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 4:30 PM – 8:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 5:00 PM – 8:30 PM
  • Thursday: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Job Responsibilities · Design and implement recreational activities for individuals with developmental disabilities

· Reinforce social and life skills

· Participate in mandatory meetings and training

Qualifications Requirements

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years and older.
  • Possession of a valid G license preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Comfortable with driving Reena's van for transportation purposes (if applicable)

Qualification

  • Background related to child care, education, social work, psychology, social services, child and youth worker
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn
  • Flexible and adaptive to change
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Creativity, patience, and a passion for working with children and youth.
