Facilities Attendant
Department: Maintenance
Victoria, BC
Shift: 2nd, Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 10:30pm
Pay: $27.58/hr + $0.75/hr shift differential
Primary Responsibilities
- Cleaning washrooms and lunchrooms, clean office areas, reception, stairwells.
- Making coffee and ordering coffee supplies and accessories.
- Handles food in a safe effective manner.
- Remove garbage, food recyclables, paper and cardboard recyclables.
- They may work shifts in the morning, evening, weekends, or overnight.
- Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors and stairways, dusting and wiping furniture, disinfecting washrooms, kitchen areas and replenishing supplies, moving furniture, desks, cabinets etc.
- Clean windows, doors, clean buildup of carbide dust off production lights, and piping and roof areas, help clean up water spills and other upset conditions in production.
- May be required to work other shifts/overtime as required.
- Other duties as directed by your supervisor
General Education & Experience
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Well organized and able to work to deadlines by priority
- Retain and use learned skills
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Basic Computer Skills

- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
